Bring Fit for the King to your community You can experience Fit for the King in your community in these ways:
The heart of Fit for the King exercise ministry is keeping God the center - spiritually and physically. This ministry is unique and powerful because God is the center and the instructor's goal is to "hear" what God wants to say to the class and then communicate it through the movements, words and scripture. Each class is a time of encouragement and fellowship honoring our Father in heaven. As Fit for the King moves out into new communities, we see each class very unique in structure as each instructor adds their own personal styles and passions, keeping the program true to God's heart. Each class keeps the same basic principles of using Christian, Gospel and other Christ-centered inspirational music, reflecting on scripture and how it relates to what we are doing and using our breath and movement while involving our minds, spirits and bodies. Even the types of movements can vary a lot depending on the needs and interests of each particular group.

Instructor Training Instructors can be trained in person or through our training materials. The movements of the class are simple and repetitive so it is easy and safe to teach. We encourage instructors to have some exercise training but it is not required. The main requirement is for the instructors to have a passion to share their love of God and use the Bible as their foundation in all they do. Fit for the King is devoted to keeping this a ministry, we charge only a small fee to cover teaching materials which include books, instructor training DVD's, exercise DVD's, instructor exercise cards, class planning guides with music CD's and personal time spent in training and encouraging. We acknowledge that this ministry belongs to God and that He wants each of us to live healthy lives and honor him with our minds, spirits and bodies with all thankfulness for what we CAN do - and not worry about what we can't do! We encourage our students to extend grace to their bodies, just as God has extended His grace to us!
