We highly suggest that you ask a trusted friend or Pastor to pray with you as well. 

In the Bible, we are told to confess our sins to one another and to pray with one another.   Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16 NIV   Even if the prayer you need does not concern a sin issue, we can see by God's Word that praying for one another is a powerful way to bring healing.
