Proverbs 20:27 Trust in God's direction in every decision; health diet, exercise, etc.

Proverbs 20:27 The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man; it searches out his inmost being.

The Lord knows each of us COMPLETELY - HE knows our spirit and our "inmost being" (Psalms 139:13-16*).  He knows places we do not even "know"  consciously.  Every thought, word and circumstance we have EVER experienced is stored up in our beings - the Lord God knows them all!  Trust in the Lord and His direction completely - He knows us better than we know ourselves (Matthew 6:8*).  He understands what "drives" us to do the things we do not want to do (Romans 7:15*).  He can free us from all past pain and make it new.... He takes the former things and makes them NEW (Isaiah 43:18-19)  When we have a willing spirit (heart), (Psalms 139:23-24*), God can do so much more in our lives: open your heart before Him, let Him guide you in all things: including your health, diet, exercise, etc..... He knows why you crave that Oreo cookie, that chocolate, potato chips, etc.  Trust in God to help you in your decisions (Proverbs 3:5-6*), He can take away those unwanted areas in ours lives and fill them with His goodness and contentment.  As it says in Isaiah 37:31*, let His work in you take root below and bear fruit above, let God work in your hearts (below) in the unseen places and see fruits of freedom in your life!

*Psalms 139:13-16     For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.    I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,  I know that full well.   My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,   your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

*Matthew 6:8   Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

*Romans 7:15   I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

*Psalms 139:23-24    Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.   See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

*Proverbs 3:5-6    Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;   in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

*Isaiah 37:31    Once more a remnant of the house of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above.
