There are two major dimensions of post-abortion healing, one is spiritual, the other is communal. Hearts of Hope † Abortion Recovery Group For women who have experienced abortion We are asking you to help us spread the message of healing and forgiveness for women who have experienced an abortion. Please share this webpage with your friends. We have listed some resources below for them. Many women don’t even realize they need to be healed but are struggling with issues in their lives that have been associated with abortions: depression, anger, relationship bonding issues with children and spouses, unforgiveness, sadness, bitterness are just some. There is hope, love and forgiveness just waiting for them. You may even be one of them! Hearts of Hope abortion recovery group is beginning the next 8 week class in early October 2011 in Redmond, Oregon. Please us to get the word out to those who have experienced an abortion or know someone who has. The shocking truth is that 43% of women will have had an abortion by age 45 (This fact has changed and is now 33% of women in the US - this is good news! As we continue to see women and men healed this number will continue to drop! Keep praying!), so that means that 1 in 5 women in any given group have experienced abortion personally! Why don’t we know about this? Because no one talks about it! Women come into recovery groups in various stages of healing, but we always see them leave with a new spring in their steps. The hidden pain of abortion is hard to share and many women live alone with this secret. However, there is HOPE! God forgives all of our sin and He wants to heal our hearts and set us free. Speaking about our “secret” is the first step. “I lived in fear for over 30 years, afraid to speak of it. After love and compassion from some amazing women and studying God’s word on this issue, I am now free to share God’s abundant forgiveness and grace with you.” Signed: A forgiven & set free daughter of the King.
