Fit for the King began 6 years ago by God's inspiration to combine worship with exercise.
Started as an exercise class, Fit for the King has evolved into a women's health ministry.
Our spirits, souls (mind, intellect, will) and physical bodies are all intertwined and when one area is unhealthy, all areas are affected.
This ministry is devoted to helping each woman discover God's personalized health plan for her life.
Our culture communicates to us a picture of health and beauty that is impossible for us to achieve and causes us much disappointment, frustration and discontent.
The good news is that God does have a good plan for each of us!
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. Jeremiah 29:11-14a
God has a good plan for each of us and when we seek Him, He will answer and He will free us from the captivity of disappointment and frustration of never being able to achieve that "perfect" health goal.
